Book Signing at the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum

Dr. Cary Woodruff, Director of Paleontology for the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum, has a new book out called Sauropods: The Largest Animals to Ever Walk the Earth.

The new book is about Woodruff's specialty, the evolutionary history of the sauropods. This is Woodruff's third kid's book and first book done in collaboration with award-winning author/illustrator Ted Rechlin.

Rechlin, the author of his own dinosaur books, is a former comic book artist for Marvel Studios that currently lives in Helena.

"I think the book is easy enough for kids to understand, but has the content for adults to appreciate as well," Woodruff said.

The new book came out on Tuesday, September 7.

On Saturday, September 11, there will be a book signing at the museum from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Woodruff said, "The 11th will be a kids day at the museum. Kid's get in for $1, and we'll have the book signing as well as other activities for the kids to do."
