One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, August 25, 2021

Rain! Precious rain fell from the skies several times this week. Unofficially, the amount in Loring was 2 inches! Everyone has a big grin on and the grass is even a bit greener!

The full moon this weekend was truly beautiful! And the two planets, Jupiter and Saturn, were closely dancing for position!

Carol Lumsden and I drove to Whitewater where we picked up Lu Besel and on to pick up Lynn Hill and then on to Pat and Roseann Olson’s for a baby shower honoring their daughter Leah. Many of their neighbors from the Frenchman area were in attendance. A wonderful dinner was served and a bonfire enjoyed!

The Lumsden’s and Kenienburgers met at Trafton Park for a reunion last Saturday!

I visited with Debbie Dyrdahl on Friday morning. Cindy Clark spent some time visiting Debbie on Tuesday!

On Wednesday I went over to senior meals at the North 40. We were few because Lu Besel was subbing at the school, Jeanie Green was in Alaska and Bonnie McMullen was in Billings. Also, Diana Simanton was isolating because her son had been exposed to COVID. Pastor Bob, Pat Dunbar, Sally Austin, Helen Austin and Patty Young had quite a decision on the way things were in the old days! I just listened.

The goldfinches have started eating my sunflowers and I love watching them! And another special bird was in my garden on Saturday…a hummingbird! So tiny and fast!
