One Nation, Under God
Today I talked on the radio show “Montana Talks.” I talked against the horrible shooting and murders everywhere, also what should be done about all of it. It’s so sad.
Wednesday at the North 40 Café, (senior meal), we had a guest speaker, Lisa and her daughter of Glendive MT. She gave us information on various programs on “Counsel on Aging.” One item we discussed was the fact that I got kicked off the Phillips County Transit Bus without a valid reason. Transportation is a real problem for seniors in Montana and rural areas, and for many folks like me who don’t drive or have a car.
The TV show “Backroads of Montana called me. They are interested in making a show in Whitewater! WOW!! They are especially interested in “The Bridge going Nowhere.” The bridge is on the hill going to Whitewater. If anyone has information about the bridge, let me know. I will update later in the paper.
Nancy Jesson, (Bill Jesson’s mom) and 3 sisters, visited in Whitewater. The sisters’ names are Fran Cover, Dayle Lambert, and Jan Johnson from Gilead Ohio. Nancy and the family lived near the former Youth Ranch. Their four children went to school in Whitewater.
There was a luncheon in their honor, (hosted by Marjie Olson), at the North 40 on Friday. It was great to see the family.
Jessen’s also lived in the house north where Hills now live. Browns lived there before that. The house has been well occupied.
Justin and Michael Austin and their family visited Whitewater. All the families went to Sleeping Buffalo. FUN!
Justin and his family went to Glacier Park then returned to Colorado.
Jeanie Green has been busy going to grandkids’ baseball games. She also worked at the Loring and Whitewater Post Office for a day, for Ashley Green.
It is so hot and dry in Whitewater, almost 100 degrees. Most of Montana is hot and dry. Please watch out for fires and smoke.
Oh well, in a couple of months we will be complaining about the cold.
Take Care, Stay cool (if you can)!
