One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, July 28, 2021

Sympathy to the family of the man killed in an accident July 20, near Whitewater. Details later.

It is sad that the terrible Covid virus is making a comeback. Beware of it, and take precautions, especially traveling.

Also beware of scams. Some scams/groups try to take your money, house and property.

On a lighter side, Congrats to Jahmiah Hoffman LaBrie, on his swim meet wins.

There was a blood drive at the WHS July 21. It was a 4-H project, and was sponsored by Beau Simonson and 4-H.

Ashley Green took Sommer and Rory Green for sports physicals. School will start soon, (hard to believe).

Jeanie Green went to Wyoming on a tour and a great time.

Whitewater Lutheran and Malta Unity churches had a picnic and counsel meeting Sunday. Allie and Sue Olson, Patty Young and others attended.

If you or anyone has news, call me or mail to me.

It is so hot and dry here in Whitewater and most of Montana. We need to pray for rain.

Fair time is almost here! 4-H and open class folks prepare your entries. Many enter in the food categories, I used to bake a lot. Now I enjoy watching food shows on TV. Some food is crazy, like eating rattlesnake (yuk) of blood ice cream. They actually pour pork blood over ice cream. Other food that is different is cooking with eggplant, garlic, or artichokes. I like the Pioneer Woman show the best. Last year the PC Fair made a cookbook and I bought one. It has great delicious recipes. Anyway, I plan on eating my way across the fair.

The night concert show is always good. But what I miss most is the little horses and the music of the Merry-Go-Round.

Enjoy the fair, Stay cool!
