One Nation, Under God
Mother Nature gave us two nights of rain this week. In Loring, unofficially “official” the total rainfall was 2.5 inches! A lot of the low spots were full of water. The ditches up at Jason's are full! It's just a very good feeling to have rain when we need it!
In my flycatcher’s nest are five eggs! They are so small and cute! I'm hoping that they hatch this year with no problem! Maybe one more week.
I had a couple of little whitetail bucks here in the yard with velvet antlers! It's exciting to see once in a while, but I know I won't be happy about them being so close when they wreck my plants!
Tina Russell’s aunt and uncle, Pam and Jeff Zirbel, are here visiting. They came down one day and picked me up to go shooting gophers with them. Pam even kept track of how many we shot, I got a final tally tonight and they have shot 600 while here!
Our Loring Community picnic is on Wednesday. Everyone is welcome! We'll have a few games, lots of food and great conversation! Starts at 6 p.m.
No church services on Fathers Day. Happy Fathers Day!
A shout out to Carol, a sister of Rose Teske! Thanks for reading and enjoying my column.
Be kind!
