Dodson News for Wednesday, June 16, 2021

It has been hot during the day almost every day now with a cooler night and of course, the wind blows every day. We have had several rainstorms in the night, relieving the dryness some but we welcome the moisture and take it as it comes.

Edna Oldfield of Menomonie, Wisc, and two daughters, Tara Oldfield of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Amy Middelton of Palestine, Tenn. came to visit her two brothers, Edmond and Willard Mortenson. They are returning home on Tuesday.

Thanks to Lyle and Francine Stiffarm for the mowing and help to the elderly on the west side. Improved things very much.

Condolences are sent to family and friends in the passing of well-known Phillips County resident Shirley Legg.

Summer school is in session and it is good to hear the young voices as they have recess and outside activities.

Congratulation and Best wishes are sent to all having a birthday or anniversary this week.

A person who is always up in the air and harping on something is not necessarily an angel.
