One Nation, Under God

Cabin Fever!

As the warmer weather gets closer and we are able to do things outdoors again, there are a few things that I have missed due to the pandemic that I am hoping to be able to enjoy again.

First and foremost is concerts! I have always enjoyed going to live music shows and have been lucky enough to go to many of them over the years. Mostly rock and metal concerts, but I have gone to a handful of country shows as well. I’ve seen most of my favorite bands, Kiss, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Tesla, but there are a few I would still like to see while I can and the bands are still around.

I am sincerely hoping that we can all get out and do the things that we were used to doing pre 2020. I realize that around here, we didn’t have near the restrictions that most areas had around the country, and in some places still do. But there are still things that I would like to see that right now are limited. Such as travel. Even going to Glacier last summer was a limited trip. One end of the park was completely shut down. Some businesses were closed. We couldn’t get the whole experience that we wanted to. With family in the South and Southeast, I couldn’t think about going there to visit last year. Here’s to hoping these vaccines truly work and that people still stay smart with the basic things like washing their hands and not going all over the place when they feel sick.

So, as the thermometer starts going up and we are able to escape our walls, here’s to hopefully enjoying all of our spring and summertime activities. Days at the lake, swimming and fishing, baseball and softball leagues playing again in Trafton, the drag races with all of our Canadian racing friends here with us and many others.

And for me, a little traveling and concerts.
