One Nation, Under God
Happy spring! Now the mixed-up winter weather will hit! We have had a very mild March so far but the forecast is for snow and colder temps. I guess what will be will be! We do need moisture!
I had a Robin arguing in my cottonwood tree for his territory! Lots of gophers running around. I gave a school tour at the GPDM on Wednesday! Still exciting to see the kids and fossils together!
Cindy Clark and I attended the Malta Chamber dinner and got to see Rebecca Engum of Great Falls give her speech! It was entertaining and invigorating! I even signed up to help with the tourism activities!
Dixie Stordahl hosted the Loring Woman’s Club on St. Patrick’s day! The spring baskets for the HLRC were discussed. Paula Morrison has the supplies. Also, the gopher hunt (May 1) was discussed. We will help fry burgers or whatever Kenny Clark needs help with. We are also planning a cleanup at the dump and around town during April.
On Thursday, I was invited to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Tina and Charles Russell with corned beef, cabbage, spuds, and carrots! It was delicious!
Sarah Osmundson visited with Dixie Stordahl one day this week. She knows I collect postcards and brought out a couple of collections! We had a light lunch and she went on her way back home! I miss seeing my OES sisters!
Loring Lutheran Church will celebrate Palm Sunday at 9 this Sunday.
The Aurora Borealis was seen here a couple of nights this past week. Keep your eyes and hearts on the lookout for special signs that many people take for granted! Be kind!
