One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for March 17, 2021

Sympathy to immigrant children new to the U.S.

Were number 1! Is a chant by the Whitewater Penguins and North Country Lady Mavericks! Congratulations to the boys team and all PC teams also to a great season of basketball. Many family, friends, and fans went to tournaments in Billings. It is great North Country is well supported. I listened to some games on KMMR Radio. It is great the radio offers that service.

Back to Whitewater area. Many ranchers are calving. Some ranchers including the Austin Ranch are not planning to begin calving until April 1 (That’s April fool’s Day to). Did you turn your clocks forward on Saturday? I wish they would have time one way or the other all year. Don’t you?

Dallas Green took Sommer and Rory to Glasgow, to the eye doctor, good idea. Remember: Whitewater Church has soup supper at 5:30 and Lenten Service at 6pm, Wednesday until Easter, which is on April 4th.

March is music month. I went to a Jazz Concert in Malta. It was wonderful so much talent, led by Mr. Engebretson. He (Mr. E) was in Whitewater Lutheran Church and played music. Since it’s music month this is a tribute to our Montanan’s own Charlie Pride, famous country western singer. He passed away in 2020, and he will be missed in the music world, by fans, friends, and family. His top songs included Crystal Chandelier, and Kiss of an Angel Good Morning. Enjoy all music.
