One Nation, Under God
Welcome February! We are cold up here, but not much snow. I heard that many ranchers have put calving later in March or so! That explains why there is no precipitation. No puddles or snow banks to have the calves in! I'm teasing, I hope the time when calving starts that the weather is accommodating! The moon was beautiful this week!
This last week I traveled to Whitefish on the train! Very relaxing, no stress! Got to Whitefish about 9 in the evening, caught the shuttle to The Lodge on Whitefish Lake where I was staying for two nights! My sister, Debbie, flew up from Billings and met me there! Then our other sister Dee came out to the Lodge and we had an Italian meal at a small restaurant. My niece and her daughter met us too! Then the next day we stayed with Dee before boarding to return home! Buster stayed at Rodney Stordahl’s while I was gone.
The North Country Lady Mavericks are having a wonderful season! Hopefully it will carry on through the post season! No sickness! The boys team is also holding their own! Go Mavericks Go!
The Loring Lutheran Church will have their annual meeting on Sunday, February 7, after church service at 9. A brunch will be served between the service and the meeting. If anyone has news for me to include in this column, please call me!
Take care and be kind!
