One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for January 27, 2021

Congratulations to President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice Pres. Harris. Its Great! Best of luck to you both.

I watched most of the inauguration on T.V. and it was awesome! Let’s forget about the past and look forward to 2021. Back in Whitewater, Montana, now. Get well to Pat Anderson who is in the Hi-line home, for now.

Note: If anyone has news call me at (406) 674-5576 (Let it ring.) Congratulations to the Whitewater North Country Mavericks on their recent games in Whitewater and also their wins everywhere. Good Luck at tournaments. North 40 Café took inventory, and they are now open regular hours. Reminder: They still have the library open with lots of books open to all.

Like many ranchers, Adam Hellie had been hauling hay. He has a long, huge trailer behind a big truck. The hay bales are huge and must weigh 1000 lbs., or more! We had little square bales weighing 20 lbs. or so. My sis, Janet, and I picked them up and loaded them on the truck. We sure could not have have loaded huge round bales now, it takes tractors and loaders.

Whitewater has service of UPS and Fed Ex trucks. They often come once or twice a day. Whitewater had terrible high winds for two days and nights. The wind blew the playhouse on the playground clear up to the church. What was bad was the wind blew and tipped a port-a-potty clear over. No kidding.

Have a good week, as always,

Helen A.
