VFW Auxiliary Continuing Ed Scholarship

The VFW Auxiliary Post 4067 announces and is pleased to offer the Continuing Education Scholarship to assist members and their immediate family members who wish to further their education by pursuing a college degree or career direction at a vocational or technical school. Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded each year, one at each of the four VFW Auxiliary Conferences. The scholarship will be paid directly to the college of vocational/technical school of the awardee’s choice. These opportunities are available to any adult who fits the following specific criteria.

The applicant must be 18 or older, and be one of the following: Current VFW Auxiliary member, Spouse of current VFW Auxiliary member, Son of current VFW Auxiliary member, Daughter of current VFW Auxiliary member, or a Qualifying member must have been a member of the VFW Auxiliary for one (1) year by the application submission deadline.

A completed application must be submitted for each individual seeking a Continuing Education Scholarship from the VFW Auxiliary. Each applicant must answer all questions on the application, and write a brief essay (of no more than 300 words) describing their commitment to their goals and how this scholarship will help them attain those goals.

The application deadline for the Continuing Education Scholarship application is February 15, 2021. Recipients will be notified by May 1, 2021.
