“That’s no big deal,” I told him. “I’ll be taking it down soon anyway.”
“She also has one of your shoes,” he said.
“Maybe you should start minding your own business and not minding hers,” I replied.
“I don’t have any business,” he shot back. “I’m just helping you.”
“Thanks, but I think I’ve got it under control,” I said. “Try to relax.”
“I can’t,” he said with a low growl.
“That’s true,” I had to admit. “You’ve always been a bit anxious.”
“Anxious?” Dot piped up. “He’s a grump.”
