Concealed Weapon Permits:

New and renewal applications for Concealed Weapon Permits may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office anytime. Once approved, you will be contacted to come in on Wednesday between 9 AM and noon for fingerprints and photographs.

December 2, 2020

6:54 p.m. Female reported hearing gunshots and advised of possible poaching in her residential area on the reservation; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

8:06 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with threats received and harassment from another male to him and his girlfriend; Deputy handled the call.

December 3, 2020

2:06 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female having chest pains at a local residence; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

2:34 a.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Port of Morgan and Loring areas.

3:28 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

4:30 a.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Saco area.

6:48 a.m. Male reported a vehicle/deer accident near Grass Range; information passed onto Fergus Co SO.

8:15 a.m. Male reported a vehicle left in his field in the Saco area; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and advised to move the vehicle.

9:28 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with harassment calls she has been receiving from a Phillips Co resident; Undersheriff handled the call.

9:47 a.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a female who fell in the street; local EMT Crew responded to the call; female located and was okay, did not need to go to the hospital.

10:02 a.m. Female requested a welfare check on a juvenile who had not made contact with the caller; Deputy responded to the call; juvenile located and was okay.

10:48 a.m. Superintendent of Schools requested a welfare check on a juvenile; Deputy responded to the call; juvenile’s parent located and advised the juvenile was out of town and would be returning the following week.

1:46 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Cody Ellsworth, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a Belgrade PD warrant.

4:34 p.m. Zortman business reported theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

5:16 p.m. Valley Co SO requested PCSO assistance with locating a vehicle involved in an accident in their county; information passed onto Deputies.

5:30 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Cody Ellsworth, from PCSO Jail to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time.

8:21 p.m. Interstate Alarm Company reported a commercial burglar alarm at a local business; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay and no one was around.

9:33 p.m. Male reported a possibly missing person; Deputy, local MHP Trooper and trainee responded to the call; case file started.

10:16 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male at a Loring residence; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

December 4, 2020

10:13 a.m. Undersheriff transported one adult male, Cody Ellsworth, back to PCSO to be released on time served.

11:15 a.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle accident east of the Sleeping Buffalo on Hwy 2; no injuries to the occupant; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

1:51 p.m. Male turned in a firearm he received from another male who was suicidal; Deputy handled the call.

3:57 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy handled the call.

7:07 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Malta area.

11:15 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Zortman and Landusky areas.

December 5, 2020

6:23 p.m. Female reported a family member was involved in a vehicle/deer accident west of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:50 p.m. Ft Belknap LE requested PCSO assistance with a vehicle pursuit on Route 66; Deputy responded to the call; Ft Belknap later canceled the request as they stopped the vehicle near Old Hays.

December 6, 2020

7:00 p.m. Male reported a fire near a residence just outside of the City limits; caller advised it was a reported controlled burn.

December 7, 2020

8:24 a.m. Female reported a train blocking the crossing east of Malta for an extended amount of time; information passed onto BNSF Police and they advised they were repairing some broken rails; train would be moved as soon as possible.

9:49 a.m. Male reported a vehicle parked in his field near Zortman; Deputy responded to the call; driver found to be sleeping and was okay.

11:05 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with “someone stinking up the town with their burning”; Sheriff handled the call.

3:39 p.m. Female reported an Amazon phone scam.

5:04 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

5:39 p.m. Male reported a family member had taken his child without permission; Deputy responded to the call; family member did have permission from the other parent.

6:00 p.m. Deputy, local FD and Ambulance reported to the downtown area for the Parade of Lights.

10:36 p.m. Male reported a vehicle “ripping around pretty good” in the downtown/residential area; caller did not have a vehicle description; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

December 8, 2020

10:04 a.m. Male reported theft of money through a scam; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

2:28 p.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a female who fell on the M Trail; caller did not want an ambulance; Undersheriff and off-duty Dispatcher handled the call.

December 9, 2020

9:17 a.m. Female reported a credit card scam.

We have been receiving calls and individuals have been coming in to report telephone calls and letters received with people asking for personal information, bank account information and needing to send money to relatives.

9:21 a.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle not located.

10:08 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with being

harassed by an ex; Deputy handled the call.

10:24 a.m. Malta School employee requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Sheriff responded to the call; case file started.

2:50 p.m. MHP Dispatch requested PCSO assistance with a vehicle pursuit on Hwy 19, northbound from Grass Range, and was possibly enroute to Phillips Co; Deputy responded to the call; request later canceled as the vehicle crashed in Fergus Co.

4:12 p.m. Female reported a male would be walking on Hwy 2, dressed as Captain America, raising funds for an Air Force Medic cause; this is a legit thing as well; information passed onto Deputies.

5:24 p.m. Simply Safe reported a residential burglar alarm at a Landusky residence; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, no burglary or anything missing.

9:01 p.m. Female reported a vehicle spinning broadies in the area of her residence; caller did not have a vehicle description; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

9:55 p.m. 911 received reporting a male had taken a vehicle from an apartment complex area and had been drinking; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located in Malta; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE.

10:07 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

December 10, 2020

9:06 a.m. Malta School employee requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy responded to the call; juvenile taken back to their residence per request of the school.

9:49 a.m. Simply Safe reported a residential burglar alarm at a Landusky residence; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, accidentally set off the alarm.

3:15 p.m. Female reported a phone scam.

December 11, 2020

4:40 a.m. Male requested a welfare check on a female at a local residence; Deputy responded to the call; female located and was okay.

12:39 p.m. Local convenience store reported a possible burglary in process; Deputy responded to the call; suspect located, citations issued and case file started.

2:00 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

5:37 p.m. Kenco Security reported a commercial burglar alarm sounding at a local business; Sheriff and Deputy responded to the call; business manager also responded and reset the alarm.

5:51 p.m. Male reported a vehicle/deer accident south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:36 p.m. 911 received reporting an attempted break-in to the caller’s apartment; Deputy responded to the call; found to be a misunderstanding of which apartment they needed to go to.

7:53 p.m. 911 received requesting advice on what to do for a female who fell and hit her head on the ice; caller advised to take the female to the PC Hospital for a medical evaluation.

9:13 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Malta area.

December 12, 2020

1:57 a.m. Male reported a disturbance in the neighboring hotel room; Sheriff and Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, female was yelling while on the phone.

7:10 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Port of Morgan and Loring areas.

December 13, 2020

1:26 a.m. Female reported a vehicle hit a street light pole and was leaving the scene; Deputy responded to the call; NorthWestern Energy advised of the situation; case file started.

10:36 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an incoherent elderly male; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

3:09 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

December 14, 2020

1:15 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

9:00 a.m. Male filed a verbal complaint regarding a vehicle not stopping at a stop sign; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle not located.

11:19 a.m. Male reported hitting a sign in a local parking lot; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

4:08 p.m. Female reported a bank account phone scam.

4:40 p.m. Female reported a dead deer on Hwy 2, between Malta and the Wagner turnoff; Undersheriff responded to the call; deer removed from the roadway.

6:16 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

6:54 p.m. 911 received reporting an assault in progress off of Central Ave; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:28 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male having a diabetic reaction; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

8:55 p.m. Male reported a vehicle that almost hit his vehicle and believed the driver was intoxicated; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle located and driver, Kristina Nelson, was transported to the PC Hospital for medical evaluation; case file started; citations issued for DUI-2nd and Driving While Suspended.

11:25 p.m. Reserve Deputy reported to the PC Hospital for security of a patient.

December 15, 2020

7:14 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male with a possibly broken hip; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.
