One Nation, Under God
Chilly greetings to you all! The temperature has taken a dive into the teens with lows very close to zero. I know this is just the tip of the iceberg for cold freezing weather, and I'm so thankful I don't have to bundle up to go feed cows!
I have seen for myself that the hunters did not get very many deer! I took a drive off the highway and I can't tell you how many deer I saw! I'd estimate about 100-200! Some were white tail and some were mule deer! No moose or elk on this trip!
The Loring Women's Club got together and put trays of goodies together for our friends! We did ten trays this year! I made a trip to town to help deliver them. I got to see Debbie Dyrdahl and have lunch with her. She is doing well. I think it's good for her to stay inside. The icy streets are treacherous!
I called on Betty Jo Compton and she is doing well, too! She has gotten her Christmas cards sent out and still drives a little. I also was lucky enough to catch Howard Berg at home but he got a phone call so I just wished him a Merry Christmas!
Then on up to Loves to visit Alice McAdams! She has just been in the hospital but I'm happy to say she is getting better! I was lucky enough to see most of the little Loves and Chance and Anjelica! Then I had to skedaddle to Albertsons and home. With all the deer out there, I don't want to take a chance in the dark!
Tina Russell spent a little time in Malta on Sunday visiting with her momma! So far Janet is doing well! She said that Tina aka "Santa" because she took in some presents and arrived in her shiny red sleigh! We are all making the best of what we have! Thank goodness we have a sense of humor!
Have a good week and until we meet again be kind and safe!
