One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for December 9, 2020

Sympathy to all who are victims of the C-19 virus, or have lost loved ones to the virus.

Several families traveled over Thanksgiving holiday. Ashley Green and children, went to Spearfish, South Dakota to visit her family. The Wisher family took Jana W. to Billings, where she caught a plane to South Carolina for a while.

Patti and Steve Young went to Malta to visit family.

I spent Thanksgiving with my daughter, Gale Young, in Saco. Challise and Tim Hoff came, too. A real surprise! We had a delicious turkey dinner and then I spent the night. Friday, we all went to Sleeping Buffalo for a swim! The pool was almost full; most were children! Maybe there should be a life guard there. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It was so good to visit family. Note: Challise is my granddaughter, and Tim Hoff is her husband from Billings.

North 40 Cafe served Thanksgiving dinner to myself, other senior citizens, and all guests on Wednesday before Turkey day - very good. The cooks were Jamie and Christine. Later, Christine, her husband, and children flew to California to visit family! Wow!

NOTE: If you are planning on going to, or from, Canada, sorry, you CANNOT go across US Borders, due to the C-19 Virus! They don’t know when it will open.

Since I can’t see my family in Canada, I mailed gifts to them, and it is very expensive. If you mail packages to Canada, be prepared!

This is December 1, 2020. “Happy Birthday” to all, including Janice and Curt Reichelt, Paul Siewing, and all December birthdays.

Special greetings to the reason for the Christmas season, Jesus! Enjoy the season!

As Always,

Helen A.
