Concealed Weapon Permits:
New and renewal applications for Concealed Weapon Permits may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office anytime. Once approved, you will be contacted to come in on Wednesday between 9 AM and noon for fingerprints and photographs.

12:39 p.m. Dodson School reported a student had been bit by a dog on a field trip; Deputy and Dodson ACO handled the call.
November 13, 2020
5:50 a.m. Ft Belknap LE reported an abandoned vehicle near Hwy 191 and Route 15; airbags had been deployed but no one was around the area; information passed onto MHP Dispatch.
11:59 a.m. Female reported an abandoned vehicle on CMR near Slippery Ann; information passed onto CMR Officer.
12:04 p.m. Female reported an extra horse in her herd; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and horse returned.
1:27 p.m. Female reported a possible fraudulent use of her bank account; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
1:59 p.m. Female reported an individual hitting a vehicle with a shovel; Deputy responded to the call; individual found to be trying to remove snow from the area around his vehicle.
2:14 p.m. Female reported a theft of prescription medications; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
3:05 p.m. Female reported a male walking away from a disabled vehicle on Hwy 2, near the Overpass; Deputy responded to the call; male located and given a ride to Malta.
4:24 p.m. Juvenile reported a situation involving other juveniles and wanted law enforcement assistance; Deputy handled the call.
9:37 p.m. Female reported a possible domestic situation at her neighbor’s apartment; Deputies responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.
November 13, 2020
10:29 p.m. Female reported yelling and threats coming from the neighbor’s apartment; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.
10:38 p.m. Deputy transported one adult female, Tyea Doney, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Disorderly Conduct charges.
11:41 p.m. Male reported a dead animal in the middle of Frontage Road; Deputy responded to the call and removed the animal.
November 14, 2020
12:50 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.
2:08 p.m. Male reported two lost hunting dogs east of the Larb Creek Road.
2:48 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.
4:26 p.m. Female requested assistance for a semi truck and trailer stuck on black ice, on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; MT Dept of Transportation employee sanded the Hwy and semi went on its way.
6:17 p.m. Male requested an ambulance for another male with an infected surgical incision at a Saco residence; Saco EMT and Malta EMT Crew responded to the call; patient not transported to the hospital.
November 15, 2020
1:04 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.
10:06 a.m. Anonymous reported a vehicle driving erratic on the icy streets in Malta; caller advised there were two young children in the vehicle also; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle located and was parked, driver advised to slow it down.
12:16 p.m. Male reported a semi truck and trailer slid off of Short Oil Road and was blocking traffic; caller advised they would have to unload the cattle to get the vehicle and trailer out of the ditch; Undersheriff responded to the call; County Road Crew employee responded to the call and put out sand on the roadway; vehicle later removed from the ditch and went on its way.
1:26 p.m. Several calls received reporting the siren was going off; City employee responded to the call and shut the sire off as it was malfunctioning.
7:15 p.m. 911 received requesting assistance for an overdue hunter in the Assiniboine Road area, north of Wagner; Deputy and local Border Patrol Agents responded to the call; male later located walking down the road and was okay.
11:50 p.m. Female reported a house party at a neighbor’s apartment and there were teenagers present; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be of age.
November 16, 2020
9:13 a.m. Canadian Transport Company reported a disabled oversized load on Hwy 2, west of Malta; caller advised they were trying to get it repaired but in the meantime were blocking most of the westbound lane of traffic; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation employee; vehicle later repaired on went on its way.
10:05 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.
10:49 a.m. Male reported a Hit & Run to his vehicle in the downtown area; Undersheriff responded to the call; white form issued.
12:50 p.m. Female reported a damaged windshield from a rock being thrown from a belly dump trailer on Hwy 191 north; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.
3:08 p.m. PC Clinic requested a safe haven for a domestic abuse victim; Undersheriff responded to the call; victim refused assistance of any kind.
November 17, 2020
2:44 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.
6:44 a.m. Male reported a vehicle parked alongside of Hwy 191 north and was not completely off of the roadway causing a hazard; vehicle also did not have any hazard lights on; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.
11:07 a.m. Male requested assistance with locating a possibly missing hunter; caller advised the hunter had not returned from hunting the day before on CMR; CMR Officer, local Fish & Game Wardens and PCSO Sheriff responded to the call; male later located, was okay and was taken back to his family members/hunting party.
11:34 a.m. Female reported a stray dog at her apartment door; ACO handled the call.
1:03 p.m. Female reported two individuals sitting in a vehicle since 8am this morning near her residence; Undersheriff responded to the call; one juvenile located who had been reported as a runaway from another jurisdiction; two juveniles taken into custody to be transported to PCSO and later back to Cascade Co Juvenile Detention Center; both cited for Theft and Possession of Stolen Property; case file started.
3:46 p.m. Reserve Deputy transported two juveniles to Havre to meet and transfer custody to Cascade Co Juvenile Detention Officers.
5:50 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male having chest pains at a local business; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.
6:39 p.m. Deputy requested a tow truck for the stolen vehicle; local towing company handled the call.
11:47 p.m. Female reported a strong smell of chlorine in her residence; Deputy responded to the call; no source of the smell could be located and the caller advised she would contact her gas company in the morning.

9:43 a.m. Female reported tires slashed on a family member’s vehicle;Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
1:37 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance at his residence; Deputy responded to the call; caller advised the situation was a civil matter and they needed to contact the Justice of the Peace.
