One Nation, Under God
We are all glad Election is over, aren’t we?
International News: Why are they sending Space Ships out into space, (which costs millions) when there are people on earth starving, homeless, and out of work?
Back in Whitewater, it is COLD, with lots of snow. Ranchers are feeling cattle again already.
However, some people are traveling, in spite of the dangers of the virus and cold weather. Sally Austin and Janice Reichelt went to Seeley Lake, MT to visit Patt Ivanovitch Donich and family. They own the “Double Arrow” Resort near Glacier Park. Jeannie Green and Colleen DePuydt went to Las Vegas, Nevada (what happens in Vegas, STAYS in Vegas)!
Sunday, my daughter Gale Young, Janice Reichelt, and I went to the matinee movie at the Villa Theatre. The movie was really good- “Grandpa" was the title. The Theatre has been remodeled and is very nice now. The prices have gone up since I went to the movies some years ago!
Again, congratulations to the Whitewater Penguins Volleyball Team, especially to Kia Wasson who received a special award. Congratulations to Whitewater Baptist Church on their new BUS! Very nice.
A salute to all post office employees who dealt with the election ads (millions). In Whitewater, Ashley Green is the postmistress. Pat Dunbar and Taylor Hellie haul mail to the country “rural routes.” Tana Oyler hauls mail from Malta. All of you do a great job. “Good Luck” with the mountains of mail that will come over the Christmas season!
Next week is “Thanksgiving.” Be Thankful (no matter what) and don’t eat too much! Happy Thanksgiving to all.
God Bless,
Helen Austin
