American Cancer Society’s Great American SmokeOut Thursday, November 19th

The American Cancer Society Great American Smokeout® is an annual event that encourages and offers support to smokers to make a plan to quit smoking or to quit smoking on the day of the event – the third Thursday in November each year. By quitting – even for one day – smokers will be taking an important step toward a healthier life and reducing their cancer risk. This year the event takes place on November 19th, 2020.

No matter where you are in life, the Montana Tobacco Quit line is ready and waiting to help you quit tobacco. They offer the coaching style and program that best fits you and meets your needs, no matter what your age. One of the newest features is their online chatting with real-time coaches on the quitnowmontana.com website.

For persons under the age of 18, the My Life My Quit Program offers free coaching sessions either by text, chat or phone to help youth quit all forms of tobacco, including vaping. Youth can call 1-855-891-9989 or register online through mylifemyquit.com for confidential enrollment and coaching.

The QuitNowMontana Pregnancy Program can help women who are looking to quit for their health and the health of their baby. Pregnant women will receive free coaching, free replacement therapy and cash incentive pre and post-partum.
