One Nation, Under God
Winter has stayed in solid and we have lots of snow. This last time it blew hard while snowing and after so it is very drifted, piles in some places and bare ground in some places. It also stays very cold so the snow must be holding it. We still have another month before it is winter.
There were no lunches served on Wednesday as it was Veterans Day, a holiday.
Some of the students under the direction of Mr. Rod Donahue, one of the instructors, distributed a care package to members of the community on Thursday (even when it was bitterly cold). Thanks are sent from all for their kindness and thoughtfulness, making a break in the monopoly of isolation caused by the Covid 19. They included many things including a beautiful sweetgrass braid, a plaque and other goodies. Thanks again students.
Thanks to the angel helper(s) that shoveled the three feet of snow off the steps to my house. I had shoveled the walk and due to being cold had intended to return to finish but found it already done. Seems there are a lot of caring people around helping that we can continue thanking.
Polly Solberg attended services in Malta for Eva Bruckner on Tuesday.
Condolances are sent to family and friends of Doug Stine in his passing.
Birthday greetings are sent to Steve Tremblay and Jennifer Best and all others having a birthday this week. Anniversary greetings are sent to Al and Molly Minugh.
Any smart politician knows that the best position to take is one to the left of the Republicans, to the right of the Democrats and to the front of the camera.
Have a good week!!!
