Phillips County Sheriff's Report for Wednesday, November 11, 2020

October 31 through November 6, 2020.

Concealed Weapon Permits:

New and renewal applications for Concealed Weapon Permits may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office anytime. Once approved, you will be contacted to come in on Wednesday between 9 AM and noon for fingerprints and photographs.

FINGERPRINTS can be done at the Sheriff’s Office on WEDNESDAYs only, from 9am-noon, unless other arrangements have been made with the Sheriff’s Office.

October 31, 2020

12:56 a.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Malta area.

1:21 a.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo and Saco areas.

11:24 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

11:51 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with an individual who was evicted from the caller’s rental residence in Dodson; Deputy responded to the call; situation found to be a civil matter between two parties who were going through a divorce; case file started.

12:01 p.m. Female reported a stolen political sign from her yard; caller advised the neighbor’s sign was still in their yard; requested extra patrol in her area.

12:53 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the playoff game.

8:26 p.m. Sheriff received a report requesting law enforcement assistance with a male having a mental break; Deputies responded to the residence; case file started.

9:18 p.m. Deputies transported one adult male, Shade Stiles, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a Probation Violation charge.

9:57 p.m. Female reported someone spotlighting on Alkali Road; information passed onto Fish & Game Warden.

10:27 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Shade Stiles, from PCSO to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time.

November 1, 2020

7:10 a.m. Undersheriff performed building security checks in the downtown area.

12:33 p.m. Female reported individuals on a motorbike in Trafton Park; Undersheriff responded to the call; individuals located and advised to ride only on private property.

A reminder:

Off road motorcycles are for off road use ONLY. The motorcycle must be registered, licensed, and the driver must possess a valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement before it can be driven on the streets. There have been numerous complaints to the Sheriff's Office for "dirt bikes" being driven on city and county roads. Citations will be issued. If riders are under the age of 18, helmets are required.

2:03 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting the last of her property from a Dodson rental residence; caller advised the house had been locked up and she could not get inside; Undersheriff responded to the call; property removed from the residence and situation taken care of.

6:30 p.m. Female reported hitting a piece of machinery in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; no damage to the vehicle or the piece of machinery.

11:10 p.m. Male reported being harassed by two individuals; Deputy handled the call.

November 2, 2020

12:01 p.m. Juvenile reported a situation involving another juvenile and a cell phone; Undersheriff handled the call.

1:29 p.m. Reserve Deputy transported one adult male, Joey Hughes, to Valley Co Detention Center from PCSO Jail to serve time until Williams Co SO ND can transport him to their facility.

3:14 p.m. Male reported trespass to property that is posted no trespassing; Undersheriff responded to the call; information added to existing case file.

8:16 p.m. Female reported an overdue hunter, who was hunting in the north Phillips Co area; Deputy responded to the call; female later reported the hunter had contacted her and was okay.

November 3, 2020

10:16 a.m. Local Fish & Game Warden reported an abandoned vehicle on Stage Road, south of Malta.

12:51 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an unresponsive male at a local residence; Undersheriff and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

1:11 p.m. Fire Protection Alarm Company reported a commercial fire alarm sounding at a local business; Undersheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay, just a false alarm.

1:24 p.m. Female reported a horse caught in a fence off of Hwy 363; owner located and advised of the situation.

5:02 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a violently sick female; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient not transported to the PC Hospital.

7:39 p.m. Female reported a suspicious vehicle parked across from her residence; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, just a moving van that parked there.

November 4, 2020

2:15 a.m. Female reported a domestic situation at a Whitewater residence; Deputies and local Border Patrol Agent responded to the call; suspect left the location before Deputy’s arrival; case file started.

8:35 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female with a nose bleed that would not stop; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

9:29 a.m. Male reported stray goats at his residence; owner later located.

10:09 a.m. Male reported missing property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

10:51 a.m. Male reported a fender/bender between a tractor and a car in Dodson; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

November 5, 2020

8:25 a.m. PC Hospital requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy, Sheriff and Dept of Child & Family Services caseworker responded to the call; case file started.

9:16 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

12:03 p.m. PC Hospital requested law enforcement assistance with locating a possibly suicidal patient that walked out of the hospital; Deputy responded to the call; family member located the individual and took individual to the hospital.

12:25 p.m. Male reported a fire at the dumpster at Nelson Reservoir; Saco FD responded to the call; found to be just leftover ash from a previous fire blowing in the wind.

1:19 p.m. Male reported trespassers on his property in Wagner; situation is on-going from a previous trespass report; information passed onto Deputy; male called shortly after original call to advise individuals were stuck, knew the situation and would be leaving as soon as they could.

November 6, 2020

8:26 a.m. Female reported a dead deer under her front porch; Deputy responded to the call and removed the carcass.

1:06 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

5:34 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

6:36 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

7:40 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle/deer accident east of Malta; no injuries to the driver; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:44 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle/elk accident near Grass Range; call transferred to Fergus Co SO.
