Town of Saco Job Opening - Public Works Operator

The Town of Saco is looking to fill the position of Public Works Operator immediately.

Qualified applicant must be gas qualified within 60 days of employment and water/wastewater qualified within the first year of employment. Applicant will be on call every other weekend. Starting hourly wage of $17.00/hr with a $1.00 raise each for gas and water/wastewater certification.

Qualified applicant must be able to meet a 30-minute call time and obtain their CDL within 6 months of employment.

This position is permanent and full-time with health care benefits, including pension with some overtime. Applicant will also be required to pass a substance screening along with a criminal background check prior to employment.
