Another Labor Day has come and gone, bringing with it some very different weather, rain, and much colder weather, especially at night.

A very hard frost on Labor Day put an end to the gardens, everyone has been busy taking everything in and cleaning up the yards.

The fires in California and Oregon are still burning and they say the smoke in those States is terrible, some of it is creeping into Montana in places and different people said they could smell it and it was bothering people with respiratory problems.

We offer condolences to all the families who have lost someone to the COVID 19 and send get well wishes to the people who have tested positive and there seem to be more every day.

School has started again, and we hope it will work out well for them all.

Two of Velyma Broadhead's sons were here visiting her for a few days and helped her get ready for winter, they enjoyed visiting with other family too and seeing some of the country again on their four-wheeler.

Condolences are sent to the William's and Durocher families in the loss of "Red" Williams this week.

Birthday greetings to Barbara Trembley and everyone else with a September birthday and congratulations to all celebrating an anniversary.

A man doesn't live by bread alone. He needs buttering up occasionally. Each generation must find out for itself that the stove is hot.
