One Nation, Under God

Vicki Olson receives 4-H Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Award

Each year the Montana 4-H Center for Youth Development recognizes individuals from each 4-H District in two award categories: The Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Award and The Volunteer of the Year Award. Counties in District two include Blaine, Glacier, Hill, Liberty, Phillips, Pondera, and Toole. Each county may nominate one volunteer per category.

This year Vicki Olson was nominated and received the 2020 Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Award. This award recognizes individuals who have served as 4-H volunteers for more than 10 years by innovative change or impact on the 4-H program, positively affecting the lives of youth, and creating a standard of excellence that helps motivate others. In her 23 plus years of service, Vicki has volunteered over 1,000 hours by helping more than 400 county youth complete their 4-H leather projects.

Vicki is a wonderful asset to the Phillips County 4-H program and continues to make a profound difference in the lives of 4-H youth. Congratulations Vicki
