Zortman Fourth Of July Parade

Mealuve Berg, from Arizona, was in Zortman last week visiting her grandparents, Allen and Cindy Berg, and also rode in the parade with her puppy.

"Zortman or Bust" read the tailgate of Pendleton, Indiana's Scott Williamson (right) and his buddy Roger Tappy, of Engles, Indiana. The two made the 1,500 mile trip to spend the 4th of July weekend in Phillips County.

Kimber Klien, age 8 from Chinook, Mont., Rode her dirtbike in the 4th of July Parade in Zortman and attended the Scheffelmaer family reunion last weekend.

For the fifth year in a row, the McGinty-Tharp-Bachmeier team took first place for "Most Patriotic" at the Zortman 4th of July Parade, this year their float honored first responders. Pictured, from the left, are Kaiden Tharp, Mira Tharp, Blake Tharp, and Mackayla Bachmeier.
