One Nation, Under God

Loring News for July 8, 2020

The Fourth of July was a beautiful day! Nice and warm, no wind! Until about 7 p.m. when Mother Nature decided to show us her fireworks and loud booming! The storm was moved on by 10, but did damage in some yards with tree limbs down, etc.

Loring Lutheran will meet on Sunday at 9 a.m.! We would love to see you there!

Jeannie Schroeder, Saige and Zoey Stordahl were up from Billings to visit with Rod and Gramma Dixie over the fourth!

Lu Bessel and Dixie Stordahl went to Havre to see the eye doctor on Wednesday. The road from Chinook to Havre is under construction but it was not too bad. Detours were 35 mph.

The hay is being cut and hopefully baled before it gets blown away or wet! This year the antelope family has stayed close to the road this year so we can see the babies playing and having fun!

My caladiums that I bought in Lake Placid have finally started growing and I have all four shoots coming up!

The lake must have been busy over the Fourth of July because no one was left around this area! And no fireworks were shot off in Loring! Jeannie and Saige did light some off up at Rod’s.

This week the full moon, Jupiter, and Saturn will form a triangle in the East right after sundown!
