One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for June 10, 2020

We have had three nice rain storms, keeping the ground wet and the air quite cool. Grass and everything are growing and has needed mowing often. There are a lot of birds around and it is fun to watch them pull the worms out of the wet soil.

Jerry Lankford said they had over an inch of rain at the farm.

Jerry's crew has been working on Ava Welch's yard and has taken out most of the old dead brush and most of the trees which were also dead. Ava will have a clear coast now to work with. Everyone has been working on their yards and they are starting to look better.

Terri and Pickles have still been delivering lunch from the center on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The Lutheran Church had in-house services on Sunday with Orvin Solberg officiating.

Greetings and congratulations to all having a birthday or anniversary this week.

Condolences are sent to Jack Kelly and family in the loss of his wife, Mary.

Some people go to priests; others to poetry; I go to friends... The best mirror is an old friend.

Have an extra special week!
