Air Force Academy grads
It's not official, of course, but until someone proves otherwise, Phillips County might well declare itself the unofficial record holder for producing the most US Air Force Academy graduates per capita of any community in the nation.
The county added two more to the list of Academy Graduates May 26 when Cadets Katie Veseth and Tyler French were commissioned second lieutenants in a class of 1,001.
