Malta Landfill hours

City of Malta Landfill hours effective until further notice are: Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closing Monday-Friday from 1-2 p.m. for the lunch hour. Closed on Sundays.

Studio Stiles reopening

Studio Stiles is reopened and offering Gym, Tanning packages,

as well as Online Training packages in Malta. 654-2136 for more info.

MRGJ canceled for 2020

The Milk River Gospel Jamboree, which was to be held July 26-through-28, has been canceled this year due to COVID-19 concerns. The Jamboree committee has plans to bring the celebration back in 2021.

American Legion Poppies

The Malta American Legion Auxiliary will be distributing Poppies during the month of May. Please donate and Wear a Poppy to Honor Those Who Have Worn Our Nation's Uniform.

Phillips County Library open limited basis

Phillips County Library is open Mon-Wed.; 10-12 and 1-6.

Call 654-2407 for updates on activities. The Dodson and Saco Branches will remain closed.

Malta Food Bank

CAN WE HELP? If you are struggling to buy food? Give the Malta Food Bank a call. We can provide information to see if we are able to assist. 654-1235 on Tuesday and Thursday morning 9 to Noon.

Food Bank Covid-19 protocol

Because of the Covid-19 protocol, those needing to use the Malta Food Bank must call ahead at 654-1235 during open hours, 9-noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Food will be placed in a grocery cart and placed outside. No recipients inside the Food Bank until further notice.

Montana Veterans Affairs

The Montana Veterans Affairs Division - Havre office - regrets our Outreach for the month of April has been cancelled until further notice. We will keep you informed of any future changes.

P.C. Library Hours

6-1. The Phillips County Library will open for regular Summer Hours on Monday June 1, 2020. Mon-Thur 10-12 & 1-6, Fri 10-12 & 1-5. No Saturday hours until September.

Dodson and Saco branches of P.C. Libraries

6-1. The Phillips County branch libraries in Dodson and Saco will open regular hours starting on Monday, June 1, 2020.

Malta Cemetery

6-1. The Malta Cemetery hopes you had a good Memorial Day. The caretaker will resume mowing on June 1, 2020, so please have your flowers removed by that date. If you have any questions, contact Jean Pewitt at 654-2732 in the Malta Cemetery District office.

Malta Kiwanis

6-2. The Malta Kiwanis will meet on Tuesday, June 2, at 6 p.m. at Westside Restaurant. Time for summer plans. New members always welcome.

Tentative Dodson High School Graduation

6-9. The date for the Dodson High graduation; with Kindergarten, and 8th grade promotions, is now tentatively scheduled for Thursday, July 9, with the time TBA.
