Malta construction updates with David Veseth May 20, 2020

Next month, around Father's Day, I will be treating Ed Dunham to either lunch, supper, or dessert at Dairy Queen. He has been doing a great job working with the marquee at the Villa Theatre and what I heard is the new marquee will begin being installed on Wednesday, June 20 in Malta.

Something I learned this week is that the City of Malta Municipal Pool likely will not open at all this year because of COVID-19. One thing I got watch was help shovel pieces broken pieces of cement out of the pool’s bathhouse. I had fun. If the Malta Public Works Department ever needs my help again, all they need to do is ask.

Maybe sometime this summer I am hoping to watch the highway department lay asphalt for a road at the new Malta Armory. If they do, I will take pictures.

A was looking forward to going to a reunion in Newport, Ore., to visit with family, but unfortunately it was canceled because of COVID-19.
