Dark-Sky Week brings skyward viewing chances

International Dark-Sky Week starts on April 19-26. It's the perfect time because the moon will be in the new moon phase and won't add light to the atmosphere. Around the world, people who are passionate about the sky at night will seek an understanding of astronomy! IDSW.DarkSky.org has several activities for families to do together. During this time when we are spending so much time together with our children, it will be the perfect time to grow interested in science. Did you know that the dark sky needs to be protected?
