P.C. Hospital & Family Clinic asks for public's help during Covid-19

The Phillips County Hospital and Family Health Clinic announced Monday afternoon that to deal with the Covid-19 virus and influenza situation that people who don’t have scheduled clinic, lab or physical therapy appointments not enter the buildings until further notice.

“This is a precaution to keep our staff and community healthy,” a press release reads.

The Phillips County Hospital and Family Health Clinic is following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) if:

○You have a fever over 100.4, cough and shortness of breath – self-quarantine (stay home) and treat symptoms with ibuprofen and/or Tylenol and stay hydrated.

○You are unable to manage your symptoms at home, you are advised to first contact the clinic BEFORE coming in. (654-1100)

○You have any questions, please call the state COVID-19 hotline: 1-888-333-0461 or go to http://www.cdc.gov/COVID19-symptoms or contact your local county health department.

Signs are posted at the entrances to the Hospital and Clinic.
