Dodson Public Schools (DPS) have announced the "Mean Green Coyote Machine" will be dropping off free, emergency meals in Dodson for all children enrolled at Dodson and will include all children in those households during the mandatory school closures.
The "Mean Green Coyote Machine" - one of the newest vehicles to the DPS transportation felt - will be delivering meals in Dodson and regular route bus stops at noon.
"Once again, these meals will be for students and their siblings who live in one household registered in the Dodson Public School," a DPS press release states.
On Monday, DPS announced that their staff put into motion and implemented our plan for school closure," Superintendent Gary Wietz, DPS, said in a public statement. "The status of delivering educational services, delivering food and nutritional services, working with collective bargaining, and providing peace of mind to our hourly employees is in full force and fluent at present."
Weitz said the biggest priority of making specific individual contact with each individual family by phone to announce our plan and its impact on our educational family was completed by 2 p.m. on Monday. Parents were told the following:

*Please rely only on our Facebook posts and posts to our school website dodson.k12.mt.us for factually accurate information relating to school items. Please do not rely on "second hand," "rumor," or "hearsay" information.
*Food and nutritional services will be provided by our transportation services as follows;
