MHS Class of 1970 reunion

To the Malta High School Class of 1970: Save the dates June 5 and 6, 2020 for our class reunion in Malta. No individual letters will be sent out so please spread the word!! Grief Support Group

The Grief support group continues to meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Dianne Salsbery residence. (We have cancelled our Wed morning group.) Please know everyone is welcome and encouraged to come and see what we are about!

Jim Schumacher Memorial Livestock Day

2-20. The Jim Schumacher Memorial Livestock Day will be held on Thursday, February 20 from 11 a.m. until the end of the 3 p.m. conference at the Great Northern Hotel in Malta. Starting at 11 a.m. will be Condition of the cattle industry with Corbitt Wall; noon will be lunch; 1 p.m. will be Beef basis, forecasting markets and cost of gain with Brett Crosby; 2 p.m. will be The importance of managing pregnant cattle and the implications of fetal programming for developing beef heifers with Dr. Sanford, and 3 p.m. will be Alternative meats and alternative statistics: What do the data say? With Dr. Alison Van Eenennaam.

Self-defense spray presentation at PCH

2-20. A representative from Reflex Protect (a self-defense, mace type spray) will be at the Phillips County Hospital making a presentation on Thursday, February 20 starting at 9 a.m. For more information contact Safety Committee Coordinator Laura Gouker at 406-654-1100, ext. 5042.

FFA Pancake Breakfast

2020 Phillips County Crop Seminar

2-26. The 2020 Phillips County Crop Seminar will be held at the Great Northern Hotel on Wednesday, February 26, starting at 10 a.m.

811 MUCC meeting

2-27. On Thursday, February 27, Sen. Mike Lang will be holding a Montana Utility Coordinating Council at the GN starting at 6 p.m. The opportunity for contractors in the area to ask questions and receive answers about the 811 call before you dig program.

Important walleyes meeting

2-27. The Malta Walleyes Unlimited are having a very important meeting to be held on Thursday, February 27 at 7 p.m. in the Stockman Bar back room. Your attendance is important.

Rabies Clinic

3-7. The Malta Steak 4-H club has organized a rabies clinic at Dr. Anne Johnson’s office on Saturday, March 7 from 9 a.m. until noon.

Malta Public School Parent Teacher Conferences

3-18. The Malta Public School will have an early out on Wednesday, March 18 ahead of the school’s parent teacher conferences that will take place from noon-to-6 p.m.
