One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for February 12, 2020

Robbie Bear and Glen Dolphay were again digging the waterline at the old Haubrick place in west Dodson which had still been leaking for some time. Pretty cold job this week as the temps were down and the wind was blowing. I had a little problem breaking through the frost at first.

Gwen Ereaux is home again — with her broken leg. We all wish her well with her recovery.

Snow and colder hit us again on Saturday morning, giving us close to an inch of new snow.

Our nephew Danny Henry passed away in Florida this week from complications when operated on. Dan was the son of Wally Henry and Rosemary Tolzien Henry who both preceded him in death as also his beloved wife Mel. Dan attended school in Malta and served in the Vietnam conflict. Condolences are sent to all his siblings and the entire extended Henry family.

Terri Cole fell and bumped her head hard on Saturday. Son Steve came and took her to the ER. Get well and recovery wishes are sent to Terri.

The students played the North Country on Saturday and the boys won! Congratulations.

Birthday greetings are sent to Cathy Weigand and Jerry Lankford and all others having a cold one this week. Congratulations to all having a wedding anniversary.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all. Remember your sweetie!

Some of us used to dream of the day we might be earning the salary we're struggling with now.

Have a good week!
