Welcome to the 2020 Malta Athletic Club Wrestling Invitational
Welcome to the 2020 Malta Athletic Club Wrestling Invitational and thank you to all the high school wrestling teams, wrestlers, coaches, families, and friends and again, welcome to Malta this weekend. The Malta Athletic Club is proud to once again host this weekend's event and we wish all the athletes good luck throughout the competition and an early congratulations to all the winners. The Malta Athletic Clubs objective is to encourage, promote, work with, help finance, and assist the youth of Malta and its surrounding areas in athletic endeavors, recreation, and entertainment. Some of the items the Malta Athletic Club has helped provide to local athletics include a new scoreboard for our middle school gym, the new crow's nest at Mustang Field, new wrestling mats, drums for the high school drumline, along with many types of athletic equipment for various sports programs. Some of the programs we sponsor throughout the year include our annual high school golf tournaments in April and July, our high school track and field meet in May, our Blue and White Scrimmage Cookout in August, and the upcoming Malta Athletic Club's Swishfest. Last year the Swishfest brought 51 teams to compete in the Malta basketball tournament and we are hoping for an even bigger turnout this year. Thank you to all the Malta Athletic Club members, all the volunteers, and all the businesses who continue to make today's events, and all of our events, a success each year.
