Dodson defeated the Roy/Winifred basketball team in a fast-played game on Friday evening with a score I believe of 59 to 48. It was a good game — Congratulations Dodson players.
Dora Henry attended a COA meeting in Malta on Wednesday.
A good lunch was served out at the Wathatu Center on Wednesday, but the sad news is, Kay announced she is ready to retire.
It turned colder on Sunday and was snowing for half the day. Here again, the bad news is it's supposed to keep getting worse. Tuesday has been predicted to be the coldest. Let's hope then it will start working the other way and keep warming up.
Tony and Sarah Warren of Turner are the proud parents of a new baby girl weighing in at 7 pounds and 3 ounces. Little Sage Rosalie is the granddaughter of Serese and Mark Pankratz and joins a brother Benny at home.
Benjamin F. Stevens, who with his wife Rosalie raised their family around Dodson and left many descendants that are still here and known well, has been inducted into the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame. After meeting many requirements, he has been accepted and will be honored into the Montana Hall of Fame, Legacy Division and receive the Legacy Award at ceremonies in Great Falls. Benjamin is the great grandfather of Serese Pankratz of Dodson. He lived when all was done by horseback, but he still covered a lot and was well known over a large area.
Birthday greetings are sent to Bonnie Lankford and all other birthday 'babes' this cold week.
The reason politicians try so hard to get re-elected is they would 'hate' to have to make a living under the laws they just passed.
