One Nation, Under God
The Snowy Owls are interesting to watch. They sit on a post very quietly, just turning their heads every so often! But as soon as I start taking pictures of them it seems they know and take flight!
Cindy Clark stopped by to see my Christmas tree on Monday. We had a nice visit and as she was leaving, Janice Erfle was knocking at my door to come in and have a cup of tea.
Patty Pollack and, Kylee visited Dixie Stordahl and brought her some jigsaw puzzles to put together! They must have heard that I like to do puzzles!
I celebrated the changing of the year with the Russels at the Port of Morgan at their home. I did not make it until midnight though! When I woke up on January 1, I saw the water gushing from the spigot on the pump house basement! My first ever frozen water line break! Thank you, Pete Lumsden for coming and fixing it! I do declare I have the nicest neighbors!
Carmen and Matt Norville hosted the whole crew of Lumsdens for New Year’s Eve. They had a huge bonfire, and everyone was nicely roasted!
The annual church meeting will be held on February 2 at the church after our morning services. The moon is waxing gibbous and will be full again in the next week! Oh yes, I tried to not say anything about the strong wind, but there it is howling like a Banshee making itself known! At least we don't have tumble weeds to block the highway this year! Not that we've ever had that happen!
Best to you for 2020! May we all have perfect vision!
