Come down to the HLRC and give back to the Greatest Generation

Dear Editor,

Our community has much to be thankful for, of which would be our senior citizens at our senior center, the Hi-Line Retirement Center (HLRC). We are what we are because of what our seniors worked so hard for all their lives. It is because of our senior citizens that our community has such strong values.

So during their “winter years,” let’s not forget about them. Just a visit means so much to them, be it a few minutes or a couple of hours. I remember my husband’s grandparents loved it when we would drop by on our way to and from events. I’m sure they would have loved a longer visit...
