One Nation, Under God
The Loring Woman’s Club met at the home of Amy Simonson on Wednesday evening. Topics that were discussed included the Christmas platters which will be put together on Sunday, December 13 at 9:30 a.m. Also discussed was the Christmas dinner for members and spouses. The place and date will depend on what's open to holding us!

Cindy Clark brought a few old newspaper clippings for us to read from the 1920s. Wow! Nearly 100 years ago! They were about the Lovejoy school getting built and how all the lumber and material was bid out and transported to Lovejoy by wagon.
The name of the newspaper was not the Phillips County News, but it was from Malta.
Loring got about four inches of wet snow on Wednesday night! I'm thankful that the old snow had melted off already! I miss the variety of birds in my trees, but I do enjoy the flock of the sharp tail that comes in nearly every day!
Happy Thanksgiving to all! Don't eat too much, oh go ahead eat as much as you want! Give your dear ones a hug!
