The end of an era

Sickness has been going around our county for a few weeks and the same remains true for our household.

Poor Lincoln had an ear infection and this led to me having to stay home one day with him.

I thought that perhaps I could park my young son in front of the television for about an hour while I cleaned up the kitchen. I turned on the television and much to my great disdain, I noticed a black screen with an occasional flicker of a picture.

Though I had not experienced a led bulb going out in a television before, or a television going out of order, that is exactly what happened.
