Phillips County 4-H Shooting Sports sign ups and season

Phillips County 4-H Shooting Sports sign ups begin October 14 through October 31. Youth must be 9 years old by October 1, for rifle and archery, and 12 years old as of October 1, for pistol. Archery is not available in Saco. Malta participants contact Kay Harms 658-2210. Saco participants contact Gene Salveson 527-7104. Season will begin November 24, 2019. Safety meeting for first time shooters is November 17, 2019 at 4 p.m. basement of Stretches.

Grief support group in Malta

A Grief Support group will continue at the Senior Center and will continue on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Please call Tammy Hubany (920-572-0161) or Dianne Salsbery (406-654-4675) with any questions.

Montana Veterans Affairs

10.17. Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting Malta City Hall on Thursday, October 17, from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. to meet with Veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork with you.

MHS Band and Choir Concert

10-24. Come and listen to some wonderful student music before you go to work! Malta High School Band and Choir will perform Thursday, October 24 beginning at 8:15 a.m. and ending around 9:15 a.m. Please come to HS Auditorium for this performance!

Trick or Treat for the Food Bank

10-30. Trick or Treat for the Food Bank on Wednesday, October 30 from 6-9 p.m.

FCCLA Traveling Tacos at MHS Football

10-25. The FCCLA will be selling traveling tacos at the Malta Football game against Cut Bank, near the popcorn stand, on Friday, October 25. There will also be suckers, cookies, and slices for sale. All proceeds go to the FCCLA.

Billings Coffee

Walleyes Meeting

11-7. Walleyes Meeting will be held Thursday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Stretch's Pizza. All are welcome

FFA Supporter Meeting

11-8. All interested supporters of our local FFA chapter are invited to an informational meeting on Friday, November 8, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the GN Lodge room. There will be a no-host supper, and a State FFA Alumni representative will be available to answer any questions we may have. Landusky Fall Fundrasier

11-9. The Landusky Foundation is holding its Fall Fundraiser on Saturday, November 9 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Landusky Community Hall. Call Darlene at 673-3267, with any questions. All are welcome.

Saco School’s Veteran's Day Program

11-11. Saco School’s will be hosting a Veteran's Day Program on November 11 at 2 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. There is also a book fair that day in the library from noon until 5 p.m., Usborne Books.

RSA Monthly Meeting

11-12. Ranchers Stewardship Alliance is having their Monthly Meeting on Tuesday, November 12 in the Malta Business Center at 5 p.m. All are welcome.
