11:15pm Female requested a welfare check on individuals she assisted with pulling out of the ditch on Hwy 191 south of Malta; local MHP Trooper responded to the call; vehicle and individuals not located.

September 28, 2019

1:03am Local MHP Trooper reported an abandoned vehicle on Hwy 191 south of Malta; owner located and advised to remove the vehicle.

2:55am Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4pm Monday for southwest Phillips; up to 18in of accumulation and 45mph gusts are possible. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 4pm today until 4pm Monday for the rest of Phillips Co; 2-6in of accumulation and 40mph gusts are possible.

2:56am Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9pm Sunday.

10:23am Female reported several inches of slush on Hwy 191 south near the Fred Robinson Bridge; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation.

11:15am Male reported Hwy 191 south of Malta was getting bad due to the weather; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation.

1:38pm Female reported a dog tied up and could not get out of the weather on Strater Road; Deputy responded to the residence; residents were all outside working and no dog was located.

1:40pm Male reported someone driving down his road; Deputy handled the call.

2:42pm Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4pm Monday for southwest Phillips; up to 18in of accumulation and 45mph gusts are possible. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4pm Monday for the rest of Phillips Co; 2-6in of accumulation and 40mph gusts are possible.

4:24pm Big Flat responded to an outage in the Regina area.

6:19pm Male reported Hwy 191 south of Malta was terrible; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation.

6:20pm Big Flat responded to an outage in the Hays area.

6:55pm Male reported the crossing arms in Saco were not working; information passed onto BNSF Police.

7:17pm Female reported a power outage south of Malta; information passed onto NorthWestern Energy.

8:35pm Sheriff performed building security checks in the Saco area.

8:15pm Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9pm Sunday.

9:17pm Female requested law enforcement assistance to wake someone up so they could come and pick up the caller; Deputy responded to the call; male woken up and message delivered.

September 29, 2019

1:17am 911 received reporting a power outage in the Whitewater area; information passed onto Big Flat Electric.

1:35am Sheriff performed building security checks in the Malta area.

3:05am Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9pm tonight.

3:07am Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4pm Monday for southwest Phillips; up to 18in of accumulation and 45mph gusts are possible. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4pm Monday for the rest of Phillips Co; 2-6in of accumulation and 40mph gusts are possible.

7:26am A commercial fire alarm sounded at a county school; school employee located and advised it was a false alarm.

8:43am Male reported a vehicle in the ditch off of Hwy 191 north of Malta; Undersheriff responded to the call; no one was around the vehicle and it was not a hazard.

9:59am MHP Dispatch reported a Trooper was responding to a vehicle/tree accident on Route 66; no injuries to the occupants; information passed onto Undersheriff and Ft Belknap LE.

11:01am Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9pm.

2:48pm Winter Storm Warning now in effect until 6am Monday for southwest Phillips Co; heavy snow, more snow accumulation and 35mph gusts are possible. Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 6am Monday for the rest of Phillips Co; mixed precipitation, more snow accumulation and 35mph gusts are possible.

3:09pm Female reported a disabled vehicle on the south side of the Fred Robinson Bridge; information passed onto Fergus Co SO.

8:28pm Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

8:30pm Winter Storm Warning is canceled for southwest Phillips Co and is changed to a Winter Weather Advisory; remains in effect until 6am Monday.

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6am for the rest of Phillips Co.

11:22pm 911 received reporting a fire east of Saco; Sheriff and Saco FD responded to the call; Saco FD advised the owner of the machinery wanted it to just burn out; information passed onto Valley Co SO; fire later extinguished.
