One Nation, Under God
Happy October, all my autumn people! Let's hope that we have a month of wonderful fall weather before winter visits again! I've had two raucous blue jays in the yard the last couple of days! Very pretty blue and loud voices! This morning about thirty robins flew in to partake of the bird bath before they start on the long trip back south!
What a great weekend I had! My nephew, Ross Cowan drove up from Denver with his dog. They stopped in Billings to visit David and Brandie Stordahl and pick up Rocco. Then to Debbie Richau’s to load her and Grandson Ayden and drive to Loring. They arrived in Malta in time for dinner. Saturday morning Ross hiked to the Cowan farm cross country and back after visiting with Rod, Brentton and Abby who also drove up on Friday night. Ross has been thinking of this hike for a long time. We drove over to Turner Cemetery, had a picnic in the park after visiting Grandpa and Grandma. Debbie, Rocco and I went to the Loring Dance and visited, enjoyed the music and karaoke. Everyone went back to their own homes on Sunday!
Thank you to all the wonderful support for the Loring Dance! Tricia LaBrie won the karaoke contest with Willie Harms getting second. There were many contestants and everyone had fun! The winners of the raffle are Brenda Lammerding, laptop, and Jane Ereaux, Griddle! Congrats to all!
Also congratulations to the North Country junior high volleyball team for district championship! And good job to the varsity North Country volleyballers for their great season so far! Heal up quickly to Beau Simonson because someone stepped on his hand during a scrimmage and broke some bones. In Cross Country, Hannah Hanley continues to pare down her time. State will be here in two weeks!
Mylee Clark had a birthday celebration on Sunday! Grandma Janice Erfle was up from Billings and Auntie Tracy Hanley and cousins and the Clark grandparents all helped celebrate along with friends!
Be safe, my readers! Enjoy every minute you have!
