Malta Elementary recognized as "Exemplar School"

Malta Elementary School (MES) was recently recognized and awarded an "Exemplar School" by the Montana Behavioral Initiative (MBI) which established an awards process to recognize teams and schools who meet exemplary standards for promoting positive school climate and school safety.

"Thank you for all your work and commitment to success for all our Montana kids," the letter from MBI stated, citing Malta Elementary as a "Gold Level Exemplar School."

"A group of us traveled to Bozeman this summer for the MTSS summer institute and received our Gold Medal recognition," MES Principal Cadance Wipplinger told the PCN.

The Best Practice Expo in Bozeman where MES staff received the Gold Medal recognition was held on June 18 and MES staff at the event included Principal Wipplinger, fifth-grade teacher Barb Buechler, MES librarian Kalli Rummel, Music teacher Nancy Murdock and MES councilor Fallon Handley.
