August 22, 2019

10:49 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for Phillips Co until 1215am; pea size hail and 40mph winds are possible.

10:58 p.m. Flood Advisory issued for southeastern Philips Co until 2am.

11:24 p.m. Female reported the street by the BLM apartments was flooded; information passed onto City employee.

11:34 p.m. Female reported the Underpass was flooded and needed to be blocked off; Deputies handled the call.

11:35 a.m. Small Stream Flood Advisory central Phillips Co until 530am.

August 23, 2019

12:57 a.m. Male reported a crossing arm malfunction at the Dodson crossing; information passed onto BNSF Police.

1:56 a.m. Flood Advisory will expire at 2am for southeastern Phillips.

3:15 a.m. Deputy advised 5th Ave/9th St east was still flooded.

3:45 a.m. Abandoned 911 received from a residence south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, phone makes random 911 calls during storms.

5:09 a.m. Small Stream Flood Advisory has been canceled.

6:42 a.m. Male reported a hay fire but did not need any assistance at this time; just wanted us to be aware.

6:55 a.m. Female reported a crossing arm malfunction at the Wagner crossing; information passed onto BNSF Police.

7:27 a.m. Female reported a fire north of Saco; caller advised was a reported controlled burn.

8:07 a.m. Male reported a loud bang then a power outage at a local convenience store; NorthWestern Energy responded to the call.

11:42 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an elderly female that fell; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

11:53 a.m. Border Patrol Agent reported a possible grass fire east of the Port of Morgan; Whitewater and Loring FDs responded to the call; no fire located in the reported area.

12:03 p.m. 911 received reporting a male walking on Hwy 191 south of Malta fully dressed; Sheriff responded to the call; male found to be okay, just waiting for his ride to show up.

1:53 p.m. Sheriff reported a funeral procession on Hwy 2, west of Dodson, slowing down traffic.

3:20 p.m. Several calls received reporting black smoke near Industry Road; callers advised it was a reported controlled burn.

4:44 p.m. Male reported an injured deer off of Hwy 191 south of Malta; information passed onto local Fish & Game Wardens.

5:43 p.m. Female reported a Social Security phone scam.

7:22 p.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

8:16 p.m. Female reported receiving harassing messages; Deputy handled the call.

August 24, 2019

6:21 a.m. Big Flat Electric responded to the Hays area for an outage.

10:07 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting property back from individuals “who won’t give it back”; Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

11:52 a.m. Blaine Co SO received a 911 reporting a possible DUI on Hwy 191 south of Malta; second 911 received reporting the vehicle turned onto Bear Gulch Road; Deputy and Ft Belknap LE responded to the call; vehicle not located in the Zortman area.

1:11 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the PC Courthouse for training.

2:00 p.m. Male requested assistance with a blown tire, on Hwy 2, outside of Saco; caller given local towing company phone numbers.

2:57 p.m. Male reported a female “destroying his house” at a residence south of Malta; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

3:10 p.m. Male reported “bullying” in the Hillcrest area; Deputy responded to the call; case file started; Juvenile Probation Officer also advised of this situation; one juvenile transported to the PCSO to later be released to a parent.

8:15 p.m. Female reported 3 missing dogs; caller later reported all three had been found.

August 25, 2019

7:02 a.m. 911 received reporting a hay stack fire north of Saco; Saco FD responded to the call; fire later controlled and monitored.

8:25 a.m. Female reported an erratic driver on Hwy 2, eastbound, near the Sleeping Buffalo; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle located in the ditch; driver advised she was “over-tired, had been traveling all night”.

10:21 a.m. Male filed a dog complaint about a Saco dog; information passed onto Saco ACO.

11:58 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

2:03 p.m. Reserve Deputy reported a deceased driver of a vehicle off of Hwy 2, near the gravel pit; Undersheriff responded to the call; coroner case file started.

2:07 p.m. MHP Trooper requested PCSO assistance with a traffic stop on Hwy 2, west of Saco; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

4:43 p.m. Female reported kids throwing rocks at vehicles in a residential area; Undersheriff responded to the call; no one located in the reported area.

5:04 p.m. Reserve Deputy transported one adult male, Nathaniel Hook, to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time on Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs-Opiate/Meth x2 Felony, Driving Without a Valid Driver’s License, DUI-Drugs 1st, and Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges.

7:03 p.m. Female reported a fire in her neighbor’s yard; Deputy responded to the call; individual advised burning is not allowed in the Malta City limits.

8:22 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from noon to 8pm Monday.

8:28 p.m. Female reported some suspicious activity in the Saco area; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

10:01 p.m. Male reported a vehicle parked sideways on Hwy 2, in the Saco area; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and advised she would be removing the vehicle the next day.

11:02 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Saco area.

August 26, 2019

3:06 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from noon-8pm today.

5:08 a.m. Valley Co SO requested PCSO assistance with locating a possibly suicidal female who took off on foot from the Hinsdale area; Deputy responded to the call; female later located by her family and was okay.

11:10 a.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee reported an abandoned vehicle on Hwy 2 in Saco; caller advised vehicle was to be removed today.

2:09 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8pm today.

7:58 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory will expire at 8pm.

August 27, 2019

10:04 a.m. Female reported a raccoon in her yard; information passed onto ACO.

11:00 a.m. Male reported a belly dump truck not stopping at a stop sign east of Malta on Hwy 2; information passed onto Undersheriff.

3:02 p.m. Male reported a suspicious male hanging out at the Malta Elementary School; caller advised the male left the location; Sheriff responded to the call; male not located in the surrounding area.

4:54 p.m. Sheriff reported seeing lots of smoke in a residential area; all found to be okay, individual was having engine problems on a vehicle.

7:56 p.m. Female reported a “chunk of a car” on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle debris and a dead deer removed from the location.

8:34 p.m. Female reported a stray kitten at her residence; information passed onto ACO.

August 28, 2019

2:19 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

9:35 a.m. Female reported a two-vehicle accident in the downtown area; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

9:42 a.m. Deputy transported one adult female from the Northern MT Hospital to Phillips Co for a court hearing.

1:28 p.m. PC Court Clerk requested law enforcement assistance with removing a female from the building; Undersheriff handled the call.

3:43 p.m. Blaine Co SO received a traffic complaint about a vehicle trying to pass another vehicle on Hwy 2, west of Dodson; Deputy responded to the call; vehicles located and driving behavior was fine.

5:18 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect until 9pm.

5:41 p.m. Anonymous reported a parking complaint at Malta High School; Deputy handled the call.

6:08 p.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

7:40 p.m. 911 received reporting a personal vehicle transport of a male having trouble breathing from the North Wagner area; caller did not want an ambulance; information passed onto the PC Hospital.

8:58 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory will expire at 9pm.

August 29, 2019

11:11 a.m. Local EMT Crew transported a patient from Grass Range to the Hi-Line Retirement Center.

8:12 p.m. Male reported a trailer parked at his residence, in Saco, that did not belong to him; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and advised to move it.

8:26 p.m. Female reported a possible theft of a prescription; Deputy responded to the call; caller advised she would continue to look for it before filing a complaint form.

August 30, 2019

10:10 a.m. Female reported phone scams.

1:27 p.m. Reserve Deputy reported a vehicle that needed to be removed from the Saco downtown area for Saco Fun Days; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and advised to move the vehicle.

3:46 p.m. MHS employee requested PCSO assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Sheriff handled the call.

4:26 p.m. 911 received reporting a situation involving a female at a local business; Deputy responded to the call; female left the location on her own accord; citations issued for Disorderly Conduct and Public Nuisance charges; case file started.

8:43 p.m. Male reported a deer had been hit by a vehicle near the Stine’s crossing; deer was still alive; Deputies responded to the call and humanely euthanized the deer.

8:47 p.m. Female requested assistance with getting a smoke alarm down as she could not reach it; Deputies handled the call.

9:13 p.m. Male reported a vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 191 north, near Loring; caller advised he had moved the vehicle already; white form issued.
