Fall is definitely moving in with the cooler temperatures and changing colors in the trees and plants. The rains that always seem to come at harvest time are here also.
Remember to mark your calendar for the Catholic Harvest Dinner set for October 6th from 11:30 am. to 1 p.m. They will also have their good raffle.
Kay Taylor returned home Sunday evening after visiting some of her kids and enjoying a little vacation. So lunch will be served at the Whapatu Center again this Wednesday the 11th.
Polly Solberg took Dora Henry to Havre on Wednesday for a check on her eyes. They also visited with Betty Munson while in Havre.
The farmers were working long days harvesting again when it rained them out again.
There have been several small fires in the fields but have all been taken care of before becoming too large. Thanks to all the people who fight the fires when they erupt.
Terri Cole went for treatment on her foot again this week.
The Catholic ladies again sent supplies to the Harlem food bank this week.
Ezzie's Wholesale was around filling up propane tanks to start the winter.
Birthday greetings are sent to Barb Temblay and Joe Nicholson and all others having a birthday this week. Hope you have a good one.
Children are natural mimics — they act like their parents in spite of every attempt to teach them good manners!
