8:56 a.m. Male reported a one vehicle accident on Bowdoin Road, east of Malta; no one was around the area; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
4:45 p.m. Male reported a road hazard on Hwy 191 south of Malta; dip in the roadway causes vehicles to be thrown off; Deputy responded to the call; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation employee.
8:44 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Loring and Whitewater areas.
9:37 p.m. Deputy removed wire from Hwy 191 north of Malta.
August 16, 2019
1:02 a.m. Saco FD reported a vehicle fire, north of Hwy 2, near the Valley/Phillips Co line and they would be responding; Deputy responded to the call; information passed onto Valley Co SO; case file started.
1:31 a.m. Male reported a vehicle driving around the Dodson area; caller believed the driver was going around stealing property from residences; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.
3:15 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 11am-8pm today.
3:29 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.
5:12 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.
7:03 a.m. Female reported a cat bite; Deputy handled the call.
10:48 a.m. Female reported a vehicle speeding and passing vehicles on Hwy 2, while in the town of Dodson; vehicle was eastbound on Hwy 2; Reserve Deputy located the vehicle, stopped it and advised the driver.
10:55 a.m. Male reported damage to a vehicle window; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
12:39 p.m. Female reported a male “trying to stop traffic” on Hwy 191 south of Malta, near Alkali Creek; local business reported individuals who ran out of fuel and now needed a ride back to their vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; good Samaritan gave them a ride to their vehicle on Hwy 191 south.
1:43 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle fire at a local business; Sheriff, Deputy and local Fire Dept responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.
2:34 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8pm tonight.
4:03 p.m. Ft Belknap LE reported a grass fire at Cow Creek on BLM; Zortman FD and BLM Fire Dispatch advised of the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.
4:41 p.m. Female reported Social Security phone scams.
7:20 p.m. Female reported hearing gunshots near the Wagner Dump area; Deputies responded to the call; all found to be okay and no gunshots heard.
7:22 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with getting property back from an ex-wife; Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.
7:52 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory will expire at 8pm.
9:19 p.m. Male reported neighbor’s dogs barking, all night; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be quiet in the reported area.
11:07 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

12:19 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Saco area.
2:42 a.m. 911 received requesting assistance on the reservation; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.
2:50 a.m. Female reported individuals outside of her Dodson residence, causing her dogs to bark; no one located upon Deputy arrival.
7:19 a.m. Female requested a vehicle be removed from the downtown area as it was in the way for the BBQ contest; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and vehicle was removed.
8:00 a.m. Deputy reported damage to signs at the Nelson Reservoir headgates; information passed onto Bureau of Reclamation employee.
11:09 a.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; Deputy responded to the call; situation occurred half hour before it had been reported; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE, Blaine Co SO and MHP Dispatch.
1:32 p.m. Big Flat reported to south Malta for an outage.
3:39 p.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding a vehicle “speeding and throwing up rocks” on a residential street in the Saco area; information passed onto Deputies.
7:18 p.m. PC Hospital reported a dog bite victim at the hospital; Deputy handled the call.
10:39 p.m. Female reported “underage drinkers” at a local tavern; Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.
August 18, 2019
10:23 a.m. BLM Fire Dispatch reported they would be doing a planned burn out in the UL Bend area.
11:23 a.m. Male reported an elderly male walking along the railroad tracks and didn’t think he should be there; Hi Line Retirement Center advised of the call and got the male from the location.
12:41 p.m. Kenco Alarm Company reported a commercial burglar alarm sounding at a local business; Deputy and business manager responded to the call; all found to be okay.
4:32 p.m. 911 received reporting a possible DUI on Hwy 2, east of Malta; Undersheriff and Reserve Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and driver found to not be impaired; vehicle was in pretty rough shape and balding tires; driver advised to take it home and park it.
4:44 p.m. 911 received reporting individuals on the old Milk River bridge in Trafton Park; Undersheriff responded to the call; two males located and advised to get down and stay off of the bridge.
9:14 p.m. Female reported an erratic semi-truck and trailer on Hwy 2, west of Dodson; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE.

8:44 a.m. Local business reported a possible fraud; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.
9:30 a.m. Male reported theft of property; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.
5:54 p.m. Male reported a Social Security phone scam.
7:14 p.m. Male reported he thought there was “blue/green algae” on Nelson Reservoir; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.
August 20, 2019
6:20 a.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle rollover on Hwy 2, west of Dodson; occupant had been ejected from the vehicle; Undersheriff, local EMT Crew and Fire Dept responded to the call; MHP Trooper also responded to the scene; coroner case file started.
9:07 a.m. Male reported a Fraud situation involving Dish Network; Undersheriff handled the call.
9:19 a.m. Female reported lots of yelling/screaming coming from a residence to the north of the caller’s business; Sheriff responded to the call; situation resolved without further incident; just a verbal dispute between two individuals.
10:40 a.m. Female reported a “grandma scam.”
3:28 p.m. Local business reported damage to a fuel pump and fuel spilled; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.
August 21, 2019
2:41 a.m. Deputy performed security checks around the Malta area.
10:11 a.m. 911 received reporting a dead deer on Hwy 191 north of Malta; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation employee.
3:54 p.m. Female reported a dog locked in a vehicle at the Malta Depot; Sheriff responded to the call; vehicle located and no animal of any kind located the vehicle area.
6:07 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female who was unconscious, but breathing, and had a possible broken hip at a residence north of Saco; Deputy and Malta EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.
9:47 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Saco area.
11:06 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.
August 22, 2019
12:15 a.m. Deputies performed building security checks in the Malta area.
1:17 a.m. Blaine Co SO reported a hitchhiker, eastbound on Hwy 2, from the Blaine/Phillips Co line; Deputies and Ft Belknap LE responded to the call; Ft Belknap took the male and returned him to Ft Belknap.
3:31 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed a welfare check on a male hitchhiking on Hwy 2 through Malta; all found to be okay, on his way to North Dakota.
6:51 p.m. Male reported a theft of a bicycle from his apartment; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
6:53 p.m. Ft Belknap LE requested PCSO assistance with locating a pickup and camper trailer involved in a theft from the Belknap area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located in Phillips Co.
8:54 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for south central Phillips Co until 10pm; nickel size hail and 50-55mph gusts are possible.
9:42 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for east central Phillips Co until 1045pm; nickel size hail and 40mph gusts are possible.
