FY 2020 Budget and Certified Mill Levy Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the County Commissioner’s Office, Phillips County Courthouse, 314 South 2nd Avenue West, Malta, Montana, a public hearing will be held at which time any taxpayer or resident of Phillips County may appear and be heard for or against any part of the proposed budget. Final Budget approval and setting of official Certified Mills is scheduled for Monday, September 16, 2019 at 2:15 p.m.
The proposed county budget for Phillips County, Montana for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 will be on file in the office of the Phillips County Clerk & Recorder and open for public inspection to all taxpayers.

INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids will be received up to and including 3:00 PM on September 18, 2019 and will be publicly opened and read aloud in the office of Design and Construction, 1522 Ninth Avenue, P.O. Box 200701, Helena, MT 59620-0701, for the: Cree Crossing WMA Equipment Storage Facility Project, FWP # 7155318 near Saco, MT.
Bids shall be submitted on the form provided within the Contract Documents.

A refundable deposit of -0- is required for each plan set.
A PRE-BID WALK-THROUGH IS SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 4, 2019 AT 12:00 P.M. PARTICIPANTS SHOULD MEET ONSITE AT THE CREE CROSSING WMA PARKING AREA. ATTENDENCE IS STRONGLY RECOMMEND.

All bids over $25,000.00 must be accompanied by a bid security meeting the requirements of the State of Montana in the amount of 10% of the total bid. After award, the successful bidder must furnish an approved Performance Security and a Labor & Material Payment Security each in the amount of 100% of the contract.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids except as noted in the Instruction to Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all irregularities or informalities and the right to determine what constitutes any and all irregularities or informalities.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the County Commissioner’s Office, Phillips County Courthouse, 314 South 2nd Avenue West, Malta, Montana, a public hearing will be held at which time any taxpayer or resident of Phillips County may appear and be heard on the proposal to levy (5.45) mills for the premium contributions for group benefits according to MCA 2-9-212 and the proposal to levy (0.47) mills to fund 3% increase in employer contributions to Sheriff’s Retirement System according to MCA 15-10-420, 19-7-403, 19-7-404. Final approval is scheduled for Monday, September 9, 2019 at 2:15 p.m.
