One Nation, Under God
One things that I got to witness two weeks ago was the installation of the new door and other items near the restrooms and laundromat at the MOI building as construction continues there. The construction workers took out a wall, installed new commodes, and put up a new window by the recycling center.
Last week, workers were tasked with digging up water lines near my house on 4th Street, across Central Ave from the Phillips County Library. The water was shut off for a while after it was discovered that water pipes leading to my family’s house were very old and had started leaking. A new line was in-stalled and our water pressure is much stronger now…we can water the lawn and take a shower at the same time without a loss of pressure.
Lastly, back at MOI, I got to watch workers use a saw to cut through brick at the back of the building, near the mudroom, where a new entrance was installed.
